What it does

Gemini 3 is Google's model family that began with Gemini 3 Pro in preview and the Deep Think reasoning mode in November 2025. It shipped the same day in the Gemini app, AI Mode in Search, AI Studio, Vertex AI and Google Antigravity. The original 3 Pro preview was shut down in the API in March 2026 and replaced by Gemini 3.1 Pro, while later Flash, Live and TTS releases carry the 3.x name.
